This is a longer blog than usual – it might take you an extra minute to read it!
I read this inspiring post on Facebook from Sean Whelan:
“3.5 years ago my marriage of 10 years ended.
UGLY doesn’t even begin to describe the divorce.
2 years of hell.
It was the darkest period on my life. I was literally consumed with anger.
Fast forward to today…
This little angel is my ex wife’s beautiful new baby.
Today I hung out with this little one, my kids and my ex for a while.
My heart swelled with gratitude as I fed this little angel and my ex wife and kids all sat just feet away.
I wouldn’t trade my life or the experiences of my life for anything. I am who I am today because of my past.
The good.
The bad.
The angry.
The ugly.
2 years ago I never would have seen this day. 2 years ago I only communicated with my ex through lawyers!!
Today we sat in harmony and peace.
Mutual respect.
Mutual appreciation.
God works in mysterious ways my friends.
Never give up.
Never stop moving.
Never quit.
Tomorrow might be the day the sun starts shining…”
I hasten to add that I have never met Sean or worked with him any way.
The reason I share his post is to ask;
Who are you not in harmony and peace with in your life?
It might not be an ex life partner. It could be a business partner, your mum or dad, brother, sister, son, daughter, etc. Almost everyone I have met in the last 15 years or so of working has at least one person they are in conflict with.
Conflict doesn’t need to be all out war, it could be the silent simmering type. It still affects emotionally you at a deep level, and impacts every other area of your life.
I certainly had plenty of people to work on when I started. The reality is, the only person that was really suffering was me – that’s the only thing I could say for certain. I had no way of knowing if they were really suffering or getting on with their life.
When I realised how much damage it was doing to me, my life and my future dreams, I decided to do something about it. After all, I was the only one who could do anything about my feelings.
I decided to forgive.
My mind said that meant ‘letting them of the hook’, condoning what I perceived them to have done to me or to others I cared for.
My teachers taught me it was nothing of the sort. Forgiveness was about putting myself first – deciding that my life was worth more and I deserved more – and that the only way to be worth more and achieve more was to let go on the negative energies created by holding onto fear, anger, pride and all the other feelings associated with conflict. The only person being harmed by holding onto that energy was me.
So, I forgave. It wasn’t easy at first. But the results persuaded me to carry on.
What were they? Better health, better wealth and better relationships.
And so many of the people I have taught are finding this out for themselves
Watch and listen to some of them here:

Do the effects last? Read Paul’s testimonial. Paul was a guy who was quick to anger and never at peace:
“I cannot believe how long it has been since the retreat.
I am still using the tools that you taught me, I didn’t need to use them for a little while until last week where I had some issues and it worked a treat! Also this week I have had some issues which would usually have got me so annoyed, now I am just smiling all the time.
I am still good with heights too!!!I think the best results have been the above, however I have also had some pretty good financial results as well. We are now travelling and holidaying more than ever and have one house we have split into rooms and have fully rented out.”
Paul Neale (you’ll see him on the video too, talking about finding peace)
